Cruelty Free Eyebrow Tutorial Under $10 | Great Buys
If anyone else is like me eyebrows is a must do. I have been filling in my eyebrows for the past year and let me tell you, I have had many times when I first started where they look to bushy, I pluck them wrong, they are too dark, ect,.After a long time a practice, trying eyebrow pencils, color gels, I bought the NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder. Sadly PETA verified NYX cruelty free but NYX is owned by L'Oreal who sadly test on animals. I personally do not notify NYX as cruelty free anymore due to this even though NYX does not test directly. L'Oreal claims to not test, and are trying to work a policy with China to change the animal testing, so the fact that it is or not cruelty free is completly up to how you define cruelty free. So if you don't think its cruelty free DO NOT kill the messenger guys, haha.
I believe in cruelty free makeup but I don't believe in being wasteful and throwing out something just because a parenting company overtime decides to test on animal so that is why I still have, and use this item. Next time I run out I will buy eyebrow powder I will be buying E.L.F Studio Eyebrow Kit as a replacement and a new try.

I have been holding off on doing any review of the products that I use for my eyebrows for the longest time because I have been really wanting to post this! I have used this method exactly for the past over 5 months and it has only gotten complements on my eyebrows.
What You Need:
- Eyebrow Brush
- Angled Eyebrow Brush
- Tweezers (If you need to pluck them) *Yes I know, Revlon, I have owned the same tweezers for the past over year.
- Lash & Brow Gel By Essence or any transparent Gel.
- NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder
How I Apply:
1. Make sure face is clean and eyebrows are groomed; if not pluck and fix them however you'd like.

2. Use a circle eyebrow comb crush or an round eyelash brush to place your eyebrows.
3. Use Eyebrow Angled brush and apply to brush; I use dark brown in the winter and the lighter one in the summer.
4. Make small strokes towards the end of the eyebrow starting about 1/4 over from where your eyebrow starts. (I don't use the wax because I don't like how it makes my eyebrows look or feel!)
5. Slowly make your way towards where the eyebrow starts slowly to make the ombre, faded, not to dark look.
6. Apply transparent gel onto eyelashes to hold in place; let dry for few minutes, DON'T TOUCH!
7. Apply an light/highlight eye shadow/powder along the brow bone. *I use different ones each time, sometimes I don't see you can use whatever not overly sparkly hightlight color.
I find it best if you doing your whole face with makeup apply eyebrows afterwords.
Overall I have used this eyebrow method for the past over five months and it works great! I would recommend it to ANY beginner because it's so simple and easy and under $10 and ten minutes to do!
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post. What is your favorite eyebrow product? What type of eyebrow method do you prefer? Do you think NXY should still be labeled as Cruelty Free? Let me know what you think in the comments! (:
