Physicians Formula's Talc Free Mineral Wear Mineral Loose Powder | Review

$14.99 at PhysicansFormula or Ulta for $13.99
After running out of my every day face compact powder by Annabelle I went to my local beauty store and found for a more natural powder that had less chemical-ly products (scary named stuff) and is a new brand that I haven't tried before. Once I was at the store and browsed around the ma
keup I found physicals formula; a brand I have always been wanting to try but it used to seem it was always a bit pricier then I wanted. I picked up Physicians Formula's Talc Free Mineral Wear Mineral Loose Powder in the color Natural Creamy for around $15.

The loose powder comes with a small brush that is alright if you don't have any other one; but if you have a better one you should use it. I use the E.L.F Powder Brush to apply the loose powder and I feel like it works better than the one it came with; it's just a little hard to use since container is so small and the brush is big. It's matches with my skin tone perfectly and is very natural once applied to the skin. I also can be applied onto of makeup or without! (I sometimes even use it without primer and it still works great!)

Favorite Way To Use It:

  1. Wash Face.
  2. Moisturize. (I use the brand Amie, it's cruelty free and sold in local drug stores! I use normal daily one but they have an matt one for oily skin for under $15)
  3. Primer. (I use E.L.F Mineral Primer)

Pros:

  • Very natural looking.
  • Easy to apply.
  • Not Cakey or orange AT ALL.
  • Blends very well.
  • Oil free
  • No bad scent at all.
  • Talc free
  •  Hypoallergenic
  • Non-Comedogenic (Pores can breath!!!!!!!)

Cons:

  • Messy to get out of container.
  • Container is small so hard to shake lose powder off without going everywhere you don't want it to go.
Overall I have not found many flaws for this product and am very happy I am finally able to find more natural products in my local town. I would recommend this to anyone making the switch from normal animal tested - chemical filled brands to a healthier for your skin brand; I know this isn't the cruelty free- ist but start slow and you can build up to even heaither brands like Arbonne and MineralHygienics!

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did writing this! (: Comment your favorite natural brands below!
