Essense I Love Stage Eye Shadow Base

Ever since I stopped using makeup that tested on animals my go to brand for a very long time had always been essence. With not having many stores where I used to live I had to choose between the very few cruelty free makeup at my local drug store or all the makeup tested on who-knows-what. After researching many brands I found out the essence did not test on animals there for they were alright to use. I tried the eye shadow base as advice from one of the cosmeticians there and almost loved everything about it.

Pros

• Cruelty Free
• Bottle lasted for almost THREE months. 
• Light wear. 

Cons

• Takes a bit for it to dry on eyes. 

                                 

Hard Candy Eyes The Limit Eye Shadow Primer

for $5.00 at Walmart

Another makeup product I found which I also love is Hard Candy's Eye Shadow Primer. I had bought it months back when I though i'd run out of essence; but It lasted for over a month after that. I have started using it about a month ago and it works decently well. 

Pros

• Made eye shadow look great all day. 
• Cruelty Free
• Long Lasting

Cons

• Small lid. (I lost it within a few days D':)
• Kind of bumpy/rough but it works great once smoothed over. 
• Sticks to fingers if not scrubbed off. 

Overall both of these makeup products are amazing and cruelty free and I would advise anyone looking for a cheap, cruelty free primer to invest in one of these. I will most defiantly be buying one of these again when I run out of the Hard Candy one! (:
