Bath and Body Works No Longer 100% Cruelty Free

I recently found out some very sad and disappointing news and I wish wasn't true.
After reading over a blog post I follow on pintrest a blogger stated that Bath And Body Works is no longer 100% Cruelty Free.
Because I could not find any information online verify this other than a email I emailed them myself. Less than a day later they replied with this email:

Thank you for your email regarding our Animal Testing policy.  We are happy to assist with your inquiry.  L Brands policy prohibits the testing of our branded products, formulations and ingredients on animals except in rare cases when required by government regulations. Through our involvement in the Institute For In Vitro Sciences, we are supporting research to develop additional non-animal alternative methods which we believe will ultimately result in the elimination of animal testing worldwide.

I am very sad to stay that even though they claim to only test in rare cases this does not mean they are cruelty free. Until they make the decision to not test at all, and find new ways to test the makeup I hope you all see how shady it is that they have claimed to be cruelty free for so long. I hope other people realize they have been made to believe a lied too and stop using Bath and Body works until this is fixed.
